Please do not use this page to ID random dog skulls. It is impossible to positively ID a breed from a dog skull unless you know the genetic history or have worked on the specimen from raw. This page is to show variation between breeds and to show that even individuals of the same breed will differ.

REQUIREMENTS & NOTES

Collection of confirmed dog breeds & mixed breeds.

- Breeds submitted to TSI must be recognized by two or more major kennel clubs. These may include the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and its members or independent kennel clubs, including the American Kennel Club (AKC, USA), Canadian Kennel Club (CKC, Canada), The Kennel Club (KC, UK), and United Kennel Club (UKC, USA).
“Breeds in Development” will be listed as mixed/unknown breeds UNLESS they are offshoots from a recognized breed.
-Unrecognized offshoots of recognized breeds are listed on the parent breed’s page as a variation.
-“Designer breeds” will be listed as mixed/unknown breeds.

-Breeds recognized by two or more major kennel clubs: Golden Retriever, Swedish Vallhund, Polish Greyhound
-Unrecognized “breed in development”: Windsprite, Arctic Spitz
-Unrecognized offshoot breed/breed variant: Shiloh Shepherd, Showline Border Collie
-“Designer breed”: Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, Puggle, Exotic Bully, Micro Bully.
